What are Telegram signals?

A Telegram signal channel posts trade ideas to everyone who has joined it: the market, buy or sell, an entry price, a stop loss and one or more take-profit levels. You place the trade yourself with your own broker. The channel never touches your money.

Most providers run a free public channel with a few signals a week and a private VIP channel or group with more. VIP access is usually sold on the provider's website or through a Telegram bot, then granted as an invite link.

Free channels and VIP channels

A free channel is the cheapest way to judge a provider: watch it for a few weeks and note every signal, including the losers, before you pay for anything.

CostFreeWeekly, monthly or lifetime plans
Main purposeShowing the style, selling VIPThe paid service

The impersonation scam

Most money lost around Telegram signal groups never reaches the channel you joined. It goes to someone pretending to be its admin, who sends you a private message soon after you join, offers a discount or a managed account, and asks you to pay by crypto or gift card.

Real providers sell VIP on their website or through their own bot. Treat any private message asking for payment as a scam until you have confirmed it through the provider's website.

  • Join from the link on the provider's own website, not from search results or other groups
  • Check the exact username: cloned handles swap a capital I for a lowercase l or add an underscore
  • Admins of real channels do not message you first
  • Never send crypto, gift cards or account logins to anyone on Telegram

How to choose a Telegram signal channel

Start with the track record. Screenshots of winning trades posted in a channel prove nothing, because losers can be deleted. Look for results connected directly to a live trading account on Myfxbook or FXBlue, covering at least a year.

Then check that every signal is complete, and work out the yearly cost against your account size before comparing providers.

  • Verified results on a live account, ideally for 12 months or more
  • Entry, stop loss and take profit on every signal
  • Losing trades posted and left up
  • A clear price, a free channel or refund, and an easy way to cancel

How we rank Telegram signal channels

Every channel is scored on the same weighted areas, using what it publishes on its own site and channels. Facts are dated when we check them.

  1. 30%Track record How long the channel has run, and whether results are independently verified.
  2. 20%Signal quality Entry, stop loss and take profit on every call, and follow-up when trades change.
  3. 20%Cost and value Price, free channel or trial, refund terms and how easy it is to cancel.
  4. 15%Transparency Who runs it, whether losing trades are posted, and whether the official link is easy to verify.
  5. 10%Delivery Speed and reliability of posts, and how VIP access is handled.
  6. 5%Support Response time and quality.

Frequently asked questions

Are Telegram trading signals legit?

Some are run by real businesses with years of history, but many channels are built to sell VIP access or refer you to offshore brokers. Judge a channel on a verified track record and complete signals, not on screenshots or member counts.

Are Telegram signals free?

Most providers run a free channel with a few signals a week. Full access is usually a paid VIP channel, sold weekly, monthly or as a lifetime plan.

How do I know I have joined the real channel?

Use the Telegram link published on the provider's own website and check that the username matches exactly. Cloned channels copy the name, the logo and old posts, then message new members asking for payment.

Can I copy Telegram signals to MetaTrader automatically?

Yes, with a third-party signal copier that reads the channel and places trades in MT4 or MT5. It removes delay but also your chance to skip a trade, and a misread message can open the wrong position, so test it on a demo account first.

Do I need a US broker to follow these signals?

If you live in the US, trade forex through a broker registered with the CFTC and a member of the NFA, and trade gold through futures. Providers sometimes refer members to offshore brokers that are not allowed to take US clients.
