Funding Pips Review 2026
A Dubai-based prop firm with one of the widest menus of account types: three 2-step models, a 1-step and an instant account. Entry prices are low and most loss limits are static, but the reward split depends on the payout cycle you pick and the rules change often.

Our verdict
Good, read the rules
Low prices, static drawdown on its challenges and US access on Match-Trader make it worth a look. The split ranges from 60% to 100% depending on the reward cycle, and funded accounts carry news deductions, consistency rules and, on some cycles, a strike system.

How the Funding Pips challenges work
Funding Pips sells five live models. 2 Step Standard has an 8% Phase 1 target and a 5% Phase 2 target with 3 minimum trading days per phase. 2 Step Flex asks for 10% then 8%. 2 Step Pro asks for 6% in each phase with no minimum days. 1 Step Flex has a single 12% target with no minimum days. Zero has no evaluation at all.
There is no time limit on the evaluations. All trading is simulated. The help center notes several recent changes, such as the 10% target on 2 Step Standard being dropped on July 24, 2026, and the 1 Step Model no longer being offered.

Funding Pips drawdown rules explained
Every challenge model uses a static maximum loss, measured from the starting account size, that never moves. It is 10% on 2 Step Standard, 12% on 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex, and 6% on 2 Step Pro. On a $100K Standard account, equity cannot touch $90K at any point, including open losses.
The daily loss limit is measured from the higher of your opening balance or opening equity each day, and resets at 00:00 platform time (UTC+3). It is 3% or 5% on 2 Step Standard depending on the version you buy, 4% on 2 Step Flex, 3% on 2 Step Pro and 2% or 3% on 1 Step Flex.
Zero is different. It has a 3% daily limit and a 5% maximum loss that trails your highest equity until you are 5% in profit, then locks at breakeven. Open losses can never exceed 1% of the account size, and you need 7 profitable days in every rolling 30 days to keep the account active.
Funding Pips payouts and profit split
Your split depends on the reward cycle. On 2 Step Standard you choose weekly at 60%, bi-weekly at 80% or on demand at 100%. 2 Step Flex pays 80% or 95% bi-weekly, chosen at purchase, or 100% on demand. 2 Step Pro pays 80% weekly or 100% on demand. 1 Step Flex pays 80% bi-weekly or 100% on demand. Zero pays 95% every 14 days.
On demand rewards need a 35% consistency score, meaning no single day can be more than 35% of total profit, and at least 7 profitable days of 0.5% or more. That cycle also puts the account under a strike system: a trade idea that loses 1% of the account earns a warning, the second warning halves your split, the third cuts it to 20% and the fourth closes the account. Zero requires a 15% consistency score.
The minimum reward is 1% of the account size. Requests are processed within 1 to 3 working days, plus 1 to 2 days for the money to arrive, by card, crypto, Rise or bank transfer.
Platforms and instruments
Funding Pips offers MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match-Trader. MT5 and cTrader are not available to US residents; US and Canadian residents can use Match-Trader.
Instruments include forex, metals, energies, indices and crypto. Standard accounts have 1:100 leverage on forex, 1:30 on metals, 1:10 on energies, 1:20 on indices and 1:2 on crypto during evaluation. Commission is $5 per lot on forex and metals.
Costs, resets and refunds
Zero costs $60 for $5K, $88 for $10K, $188 for $25K, $244 for $50K, $444 for $100K and $888 for $200K. A swap-free add-on costs 10% more.
A breached account can be reset at a discount within 7 days: 12% off a Phase 1 reset, 10% off Phase 2 and 7% off a Master Account reset. The terms say registration fees are not refundable because the service is delivered right after purchase.
Trading restrictions
News: there is no news restriction during evaluations, but deliberately trading news is banned in every phase. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news or speeches on the affected currency can be deducted, unless the trade was opened at least 5 hours earlier.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed during evaluations. On 2 Step Standard Master Accounts, open trades are closed automatically each evening unless you bought the Swing add-on.
EAs: the terms allow a third-party EA only when it acts as a trade or risk manager. Any other third-party EA is a violation and the reward is declined. Copy trading or account management by a third-party vendor leads to termination. Funding Pips does offer its own Trade Copier between your own accounts.
Inactivity: an account is breached if no trade is opened and fully closed within 30 consecutive days.
Countries: the help center says it does not accept residents of Iran, Vietnam or the UAE, and the site adds countries on the FATF and EU or UN sanctions lists.
- Hit a daily or maximum loss limit: hard breach, the account is closed at once
- News or consistency issues on a funded account: profits deducted, not a breach
- Fourth strike on the on-demand cycle: the account is closed
Who owns Funding Pips and where it is registered
Funding Pips is not a broker and is not regulated. Its site says it does not act as a broker, custodian or financial intermediary, that program fees are service fees and not deposits, and that its services are limited to simulated trading programs.
The site names FundingPips Corp, a company incorporated in the Comoros Union (company number HY01223081, Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Mohéli), and gives a registered address at IFZA Business Park, Dubai, UAE. FundingPips Services Ltd in Nicosia, Cyprus (HE 450941) is listed as a support and administrative office. The terms are governed by the laws of Dubai.
Our verdict
Funding Pips is cheap to try, uses fixed loss limits on all its challenges, and lets US traders in on Match-Trader. 2 Step Pro and 1 Step Flex suit traders who want no minimum days.
The trade-off is complexity. Your split, payout timing and funded-account rules all depend on the model and cycle, and the firm changes them often. Pick the bi-weekly cycle if you want the simplest rules, and reread the help center article for your model before you buy.
